The University of Cologne, through its Institute of Geography, has officially extended an invitation to Dipo Caesario to serve as a guest speaker in a series of Preparatory Seminars for students participating in an upcoming academic excursion to Padang and Bukittinggi, Indonesia.

The seminars, scheduled for July 5, 12, and 19, 2025, aim to equip students with foundational knowledge and critical insights into the regions they will explore. As part of the academic preparation, students will present preliminary research on key topics related to West Sumatra. To enhance their understanding—particularly in the areas of physical geography, geology, hydrogeology, and geomorphology—Dipo Caesario has been invited to deliver a 90-minute online session, including both a presentation and an interactive discussion.

The invitation was formally extended by Ajeng Larasati, M.Sc., Research Associate at the University of Cologne, who emphasized the value of Dipo Caesario’s expertise in enriching the students’ academic experience and contextual knowledge of Indonesia’s diverse landscapes.

This collaboration reflects the university’s commitment to fostering global academic exchange and interdisciplinary learning, while also highlighting the importance of local expertise in international education initiatives.
